Council Action Requested:
Transfer of funds to replace the current intercom system for the courthouse.

Points to Consider:
The intercom system in the courthouse stopped working and needs to be replaced for security reasons. The funding is available within the Court Security Fund budget, but a transfer is necessary to complete the entire replacement. This is above the Administrator's allowable threshold for transfer and, therefore, requires Council approval.

Funding and Liability Factors:
The total cost of the system is approx. $73,000. There is currently $41,900 in the capital account so $31,100 will need to be transferred to cover the cost.

Recommendation:
Approve.
