Provide recognition to EMS employees who recently attended the 2023 South Carolina State EMS Symposium in Myrtle Beach where Lancaster County EMS won two commendations: John Kennington was named EMT of the Year and Lancaster County PIER team was awarded PIER team of the Year.
Points to Consider:
John Kenninton has worked with Lancaster County EMS since 2015. He serves on the STAR team, is the training officer for the Lancaster County Honor Guard and performs with the Always Ready Emergency Troupe.
PIER stands for Public Information and Education Resource and the Lancaster County team was awarded the PIER team of the Year for its efforts in the community and its work at public events, school events, etc. This team helps educate the community on the role of EMS.
