Recognition of Emma Estridge, a Lancaster County resident, as the winner of the South Carolina Association of Counties (SCAC) 2023 Board of Directors Scholarship.
Points to Consider:
Established in 1998, the SCAC scholarship program was established to recognize outstanding students that plan to further their education in the State of South Carolina.
Four $2,500 scholarships are awarded each year to graduating seniors who are residents of counties chosen by lottery by SCAC.
Lancaster County was selected in the 2023 lottery draw and then the SCAC scholarship selection committee met and selected Emma Estridge as Lancaster County's recipient.
