Council Action Requested:
Council is being asked to approve the pool expenses for the Town of Kershaw.
Points to Consider:
Currently, approval of expenses is guided by Resolution 0865-R2015 (attached), which outlines the County and Town of Kershaw will use a formula of Expenses minus revenues and reimburse one half of the resulting loss for regular operations and maintenance, as well as any capital improvement and replacement items.
This year there were no capital improvement-related expenses.
In January of 2019, Council discussed possibly amending the Resolution but decided instead to cap the expenses through the budget process.
Funding and Liability Factors:
The request based upon the resolution agreement is for $12,196.08 for FY 23, which will be deducted from the Parks and Recreation budget.
Recommendation:
Authorize payment of $12,196.08 for the Town of Kershaw pool expenses.
