Council Action Requested:
Council is being asked to review and provide feedback on the draft Strategic Plan.
Points to Consider:
Willdan will provide the draft Strategic Plan representing their work with the community over the past six months. The Plan has been based on input received from interviews, citizen surveys, focus groups, Department Directors, and Council sessions.
This draft includes the updated Mission, Vision and Core Values, plus the identification of five focus areas and accompanying objectives for each of the five areas, with timeframes and assigned responsibility.
After input from County Council, the final draft of the Strategic Plan is scheduled for adoption at the August 14, 2023, Council meeting.
Funding and Liability Factors:
The Strategic Plan was funded in the FY 2022-2023 budget.
Recommendation:
Provide input and feedback on the draft Strategic Plan.
