Council Action Requested:

To approve or deny the proposed rezoning, which is an application by Teresa Johnson to rezone a 1.0 acre parcel at the corner of Mackey and Douglas Roads (TM# 0103F-0F-006.03) from Medium Density Residential (MDR) to Manufactured Housing (MH) District, in order to locate a mobile home on the property.



Points to Consider:

The parcel is adjacent to the proposed MH zoning district.

 

The applicant does have a permit to operate from SCDHEC.

 

The applicant will need to go through the Zoning Department to obtain a permit for the mobile home if the rezoning is approved.

Recommendation:

The proposed rezoning received unanimous recommendation for approval by Planning Commission at their June regular meeting with no discussion.

 

Staff recommends Approval of the request to rezone 1.0-acre (TM# 0103F-0F-006.03) from Medium Density Residential (MDR) District to Manufactured Home (MH) District.
