Council is being asked to approve the 2023 Strategic Plan.
Points to Consider:
Willdan has provided the finalized Strategic Plan representing their work with the community over the past six months. The Plan has been based on input received from interviews, citizen surveys, focus groups, Department Directors, and Council sessions.
This Plan includes the updated Mission, Vision and Core Values, plus the identification of five focus areas and accompanying objectives for each of the five areas, with timeframes and assigned responsibility.
The final version of the Strategic Plan will be available at the Council meeting.
Funding and Liability Factors:
The Strategic Plan was funded in the fiscal year 2022-2023 budget year.
Recommendation:
Approve the Strategic Plan via Resolution 1243-R2023.
