Approval of Application by Saul Lopez to rezone 1.53 acres at 1890 High Point Drive (TM 0086F-0B-001.00) from Manufactured Housing (MH) to Medium Density Residential (MDR) district, in order to subdivide the property and build single family residences.

The proposed Medium Density Residential Zoning is located directly across High Point Circle.

 

The rezoning does align with Goal GL 1.4 listed in the comprehensive plan;Encourage renovations/redevelopment of existing housing and neighborhoods, where infrastructure already exists and housing stock needs to be improved or made code compliant.”

 

The proposal also aligns with the future land use map.

Recommendation:

At the Planning Commissions July regular meeting, the proposal received a recommendation for approval 6-1.

 

Staff also recommended approval.
